He also imparts his expertise as an instructor of Pathology and Pharmacology at Shifa Medical College. Currently, he is contributing his skills and knowledge at the Federal Govt. Services Hospital in Islamabad, where his blend of academic proficiency and practical experience makes a significant impact in the field.

Dr. Raafia Azhar

MBBS, MSPH, MSc Healthcare Leadership (UK)

Dr. Raafia Azhar has extensive medical training and public health expertise in healthcare practices and policies. She holds an MBBS from Army Medical College and an MSPH from the Health Services Academy, Islamabad, reflecting her strong foundation in medical sciences and public health. Dr. Raafia’s professional experience is distinguished by her role as Assistant Director of Surveillance at the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination. She also honed her medical skills as a Medical Practitioner at Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi. Currently, she is expanding her leadership capabilities in the healthcare sector by pursuing an MSc in Healthcare Leadership at BPP University, UK.

Dr. Jawaria Abdhoo

MBBS, FCPS (Medicine)

Dr. Jawaria Abdhoo is a distinguished medical professional with a comprehensive background in medicine. She obtained her MBBS from Foundation University Medical College and further specialized by completing her FCPS in Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. Dr. Abdhoo has developed a keen interest and expertise in several medical areas, including electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) interpretation, diagnostic procedures, weight reduction strategies, management of chronic liver disease (CLD), treatment of gastroenteritis, and the control of hypertension. Currently, she applies her extensive knowledge and skills as a general practitioner at Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore, where she continues to contribute significantly to patient care and medical practice.

Having her PhD degree in Psychology at Fatima Jinnah Women University and holding a Master’s degree from the University of Sargodha, she is well-versed in the intricacies of psychological studies. Currently, she is contributing her expertise to an NDIS registered organization, where she provides invaluable support to people with special needs. Ms. Sabahat’s research interests are particularly focused on exploring the relationship between childhood traumatic experiences, psychological distress, and obsessive-compulsive personality symptoms among young adults, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
